February 2021, Week 3

I am that, I am

Has this intention, this focus on the grounding quality of the first chakra helped you at all this month?  Have you taken the time to connect with your personal intention for yourself - I am that, I am.  Remember this month the “that” is your personal grounding word - where you want to move, think and feel from.  The intention has been tremendously helpful for me this past week.  My statement - I am perfectly healthy, I am has been on repeat - I feel physically off as I mentioned last week and I feel like a perpetual patient as I have to revisit and check in with doctors.  Left unattended, my mind can sink to thoughts of fear and discomfort, focusing on the problems in my body.  However, I have been repeating my intention over and over when the thoughts come and it is subsiding a bit.  How is your mind? Your body? 

 

February is a tough time of year, and add on top of that 2021…yikes!  We all need to be extra vigilant, as I always say I promise it is worth the effort.  So right now claim your “I am that, I am” statement and let it help you.  Repeat it, let it get In your bones and ground you.  Something else to consider - what activities make you feel grounded? What people make you feel grounded? Take a moment to write and reflect on these simple questions.   Yesterday for the first time in a year I found myself in an outdoor pool swimming laps - I literally had tears in my eyes in the pool, I felt amazing and normal, like my old self!  This is an example of a grounding activity for me and yes in the pool every pore of my being felt that ….”I am perfectly healthy, I am”.  AS I said, we need to step it up a bit!!!!  What do you love to do? Are you not doing it and if not, why?  Right now there are legit reasons we are feeling restricted, but I think we all need to stop a moment and find our roots so we can ride out the rest of COVID with some grace!!!!
