October 2025 Week 3
Pray, Trust, Wait
A meditation from Melody Beattie:
“We could never learn to be brave and patient, if there were only joy in the world.
— Helen Keller
How do we learn patience? How does it come to us?
Patience is a gift—one that grows in its own time. It grows as we learn to surrender to the process of life, to trust, to know that all is well, even when things don’t go the way we want them to.
We can stop trying to rush things—relationships, recovery, goals, outcomes. We can stop demanding that things happen on our timetable. We can stop expecting life to unfold according to our expectations.
Patience is a powerful tool. It doesn’t mean we do nothing; it means we learn to do what we can, when we can, and let the rest happen as it will.
We can trust that what we need will come to us at the right time, in the right way, and that we will be guided to what we need to do when we need to do it.
Today, I will be patient with myself, with others, and with the process of life. I will trust that everything is unfolding perfectly for my highest good—even when I cannot see it yet.”
Pray, Trust, Wait - half way through the month and I am wondering if this is serving you in anyway. For me it has given me the gift of pausing and lessening anxious thoughts of parts of my life that seem slightly unsettled.
Another helpful reminder for WAIT:
W - Why
A - Am
I - I
T - Talking
Hahahaha - does this help you in anyway? Loving this intention, loving this month and loving all we do together!! Gearing up for next months pre holiday reset - a perfect time to strengthen all of our waiting and pausing skills for the holidays.
