I am starting the New Year with intention and peace

Happy New Year Calm Crew!!! January is often a time of reflection, possible exhaustion from the busy holidays and resolutions! All of this can be done in a couple of ways. We can reflect on the past year and beat ourselves up for our behaviors or missed goals, over caffeinate to get some energy back or completely retreat and then set lofty goals all to be completed yesterday! Does any of this ring true for you at the beginning of January? How about if we approach this time of new beginnings and a fresh start in a different way…..

Let’s be intentional and reflective as we look back:
Any milestones happen this year that impacted your life?
Where did you make progress in your life - big and small?
What are you ready to leave behind without judgement of the past behavior!

Now let’s look ahead and add our intention for this month into our psyche - I am starting the New Year with intention and peace. Repeat the intention, let it soak in and soften your inner critic who may be looking back harshly or placing high expectations on your 2023.

I keep repeating this - I am starting the New Year with intention and peace - to help me step firmly into 2023, to let go of parts of me in 2022 that I am not proud of and to set myself up for an amazing 2023! If we are intentional in our lives, we come from a more connected place with ourselves and hence more peace in our days! Thank you for journeying into the new year with me.
